As many of you now know about 6 weeks ago I made a huge career change finally making the move to Metroland Corporate Sales in Toronto. This is something that I have wanted to do since I first joined Metroland in my early 20’s and I am finally now ready to rumble in the corporate world. I have spent the first few weeks on the job learning the lay of the land and I have a ways to go in order to truly navigate my way around the corporate office but at at the end of the day the reason I came to Metroland corporate sales was to be able to service my customers with a bigger picture in mind serving up national campaigns which will replace regional ones. With this comes a bigger challenge than what we see at the local level (which I’m completely ready for). The stage is much brighter with more pressure to perform but the opportunity is also much greater. I fully plan on bringing my local market experience, flyer expertise, passion for digital media, entrepreneurial spirit and energy to serve my new corporate clients. With Metroland’s multitude of marketing products and platforms there isn’t a customer out there where we cannot deliver a platform to suit their marketing needs with a high ROI. At the end of the day what I am going to do is listen to what my customers’ needs are and come up with solutions to meet those needs. Everybody wins my clients win and I win having my best year yet!
